Lemont Center for the Arts

To enrich the cultural landscape of Lemont by fostering the production and appreciation of the arts.

“Gifted”: A benefit for Lemont’s public art organization

“Gifted” benefits Lemont’s not-for-profit public art organization, which has:

  • Provided classes for 1,500 students in village schools that do not have art programs;
  • Hosts exhibits of artwork by students from Lemont High School and Old Quarry School;
  • Created the I&M bridge mosaics and crafted the large mosaic planters downtown that detail village history;
  • Adorned downtown building walls with murals depicting significant Lemont events;
  • Offers free children’s activities at village festivals;
  • Hosts classes for adults and children.

The arts center is open on weekends and offers new gallery exhibits each month.  Admission is free.
